Early Childhood Addition
In August 2014, St. Ursula Villa welcomed our youngest students to seven new, brightly-lit Montessori and Traditional Preschool classrooms. This Early Childhood addition to our iconic Manor House provides an ideal learning environment for our highly regarded Early Childhood programs. We also launched a new Toddler/2 year-old program to meet demand.
Additionally, our Manor House's extraordinary spaces were returned to their original uses, respecting botht he cultural legacy of the Ursuline Sisters and a historic Cincinnati landmark. The lovely stained-glass LeBlond dining room is now a chapel for student religious formation and Villa community worship, with the original dining room now functioning as our Early Childhood dining area and community room for fellowship and gatherings.
Montessori classes for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds, and Traditional Preschool for 3- and 4-year olds now benefit from:
- Seven new, built-to-suit, larger classrooms with private bathrooms
- Dedicated lunch and nap rooms
- Brightly-lit spaces for Early Childhood Music and Art instruction
- Indoor constructive play space.
