50th Anniversary Celebration

Did you know that in 2010 St. Ursula Villa will celebrate 50 years as an Ursuline elementary school? Also in 2010, the Ursulines of Cincinnati and St. Ursula Academy celebrate their centennial. In recognition of this milestone, a group of St. Ursula Villa volunteers, working through the Development Office, has begun planning for the celebration. We need your help!

One key initiative is to collect records, photos, mementos, and other items from Villa alumni, retired faculty members, past parents, and friends to document St. Ursula Villa’s rich history. Thanks to Sr. Rosemary Winkeljohann, St. Ursula Villa principal from 1979 – 1985, we’ve been able to gather some of our school’s items, currently housed at St. Ursula Academy, to get us started on our own “Villa Archives.” Do you have a copy of The Echo? Old class composite pictures or yearbooks? Photos or mementos from May Party, Graduation, or any other event significant to your years at the Villa?  Please consider sending items of interest (or reproductions) to the Development Office.

Another initiative is to connect with alumni, their parents, retired faculty members, and other friends of the Villa.
