Mini - Musical Camp
KNDG to 3rd Grade
Dates: June 17-21, 2019

Description: The captivating mini-musical The Cuckoo: The Day the Cuckoo Lost Her Colors will capture your young performer's imagination. The Cuckoo, the heroine of this story, is rewarded by her friends for her sacrifice and kindness in this uplifting story. Children in grades K - 3 will spend the week learning songs, dances, and basics of performing on stage with Ms. Loflin and Ms. Layne. The show will be performed at noon on Friday the 21st in the MPR.

LEGO Robotics1
1st Grade to 3rd Grade

Description: Using the Lego Robotics kit, Boost, campers will build and customize Vernie, a personal talking robot friend. Campers can speak to Vernie and it will respond with facial expressions that reflect its mood. Vernie can move in all directions at variable speed on its large tracks, see objects and colors, sense distance, grip and carry accessories, make hand gestures and launch darts from its shoulder mounted launcher! Working in small groups, students will code Vernie’s behavior and complete other fun activities and challenges with the guidance of Dr. Cohen.

Oregon Trail Adventure Camp
3rd Grade to 5th Grade

Description: Attention, Attention! Mrs. Kruse is seeking brave souls to travel across the country to reach the paradises of the West on the Oregon Trail! Along the way you will encounter trading posts, challenges, crafts, stories and more! This will be an immersion experience dating back to the 1800's! Adventure is out there! Let's go find it!

Outdoor Explorers/Nature Camp
Pre4 to 2nd Grade
Dates: Jul 15-19, 2019

Description: Experience the great outdoors right here on the Villa’s beautiful 22-acre campus. Hike the trails, play games, explore the environment, make nature crafts, discuss basic wilderness survival skills, and more with Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Layne!

Reading/Writing Camp- 1st Gr Skills Session 1
1st Grade
Dates: Jul 15-19, 2019
Hours: 11:30am-1:00pm
Cost: $80
Description: This skills-based camp taught by Mrs. Hull and Ms. Emily will focus on visual & auditory drills to reinforce and expand skills, Handwriting Without Tears practice with letter formation, sentence writing skills, reading of phonetic-based readers, and fun & reinforcing games. Sign up for one or both sessions. Students are welcome to sign up for "Enrichment Add-On Week 6," to start their day at 8 am.

Young Artists
Pre4 to 2nd Grade
Dates: Jul 22-26, 2019

Description: Budding artists will explore various mediums and the different styles of famous artists with Mr. Mike while creating many masterpieces they'll be proud to display at home. Parents are invited to a gallery showing of the week's art projects at the culmination of the week, July 26th, at 11:30 in the MPR.

Description: Get ready to blast off for some out of this world space adventures! We will learn about and then act out the Apollo 11 mission to the moon, inflate a model of the solar system and learn about the planets, and soar far beyond our home planet to learn more about our galaxy and universe through books, science experiments, art, videos, and more. Astronaut adventures with Ms. Nicole await for all those eager to explore!

Soccer Camp
KNDG to 6th Grade

Description: Coach Hermans is a former professional soccer player and former head coach of the Xavier University men's soccer team. He brings with him many talented coaches to help young athletes learn and practice soccer drills, the rules of the game, and teamwork in a fun atmosphere. Don't forget a water bottle and soccer ball.
