Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the school responsible for developing and implementing long-range, strategic plans that support St. Ursula Villa's mission. The Board's focus is on mission effectiveness, financial sustainability and stewardship, enrollment and retention, leadership development, and capital planning and improvements. The Board also serves in an advisory role to St. Ursula Villa's President, Principal, and Director of Early Childhood who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school.
Composed of parents and community leaders, members of St. Ursula Villa's Board of Trustees bring skills and expertise to serve the school. The Board elects its own members to three-year terms, with approximately one-third of the Trustees elected each year.
Much of the work of the Board of Trustees is accomplished in committee. Board committees include Building and Grounds, Education and Mission Effectiveness, Executive, Finance, Governance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Ursuline Identity. The Board of Trustees typically meets in August, November, January, March, and May.
