VPO Fundraising
The VPO funds its activities primarily by promoting retail-sponsored purchasing programs which kick back funds to the Villa. These are win-win programs because the Villa benefits from purchases parents are already making. While participating is your choice, the more you participate, the more our community benefits. Some examples are:
- Kroger Community Rewards Program: If you are a Kroger shopper, simply log onto https://www.kroger.com/communityrewards and create an account using your Kroger Plus Card information. Once an account is created, you can register St. Ursula Villa as your school of choice to receive a percentage of your receipt every time you use your Kroger Plus Card.
- Box Tops: Help support the VPO by clipping Box Tops. For every Box Top submitted our school receives ten cents. These are items you already purchase; you just need to take an extra step to help support the VPO. Contests are held throughout the year for the homeroom that brings in the most Box Tops. You can send in Box Tops to your homeroom teachers.
- AmazonSmile: Amazon donates .05% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the Villa by starting your shopping at smile.amazon.com and denoting St. Ursula Villa as your charity of choice. You will be given the same product offerings at the same price, but the Villa will receive 5 cents on every dollar you spend on Amazon.
In addition, the VPO raises money through the Villa lunch programs, May Party, March Madness tournament, Elves Shelves and School Supply Kits.
