Destination Villabration: Fun & Funds for the Villa
A sold-out crowd enjoyed a special evening of fun and fundraising to benefit St. Ursula Villa's outstanding educational programs. Held Saturday, April 8th on the Villa's campus, Destination Villabration' raised over $200,000 through Silent and Live Auctions. Honorary Chairs David and Holly Woprice and Madhu and Leela Vrishabhendra - parents with more than 30 collective years at the Villa - thanked attendees, volunteers, donors, and sponsors for making the event a huge success. Clever and colorful decorations with international landmarks, vintage luggage, and cultural icons followed the travel theme with auctioneer Mike Brown 'piloting' spirited bidding on amazing items.
The Live Auction included a Special Appeal which generated funds enabling the purchase of cutting edge Social Studies materials for students in K-8 to help equip them for our changing world.
